DISABLED VETERANS TAKE A STAND AGAINST ATF’S REGULATORY ABUSES AND PROPOSED STABILIZING BRACE BAN

July 30, 2021

On Tuesday, July 27th, disabled Veterans took a powerful stand in DC against the ATF’s proposed stabilizing brace ban and regulatory abuses. This press conference was organized by Congressman Richard Hudson (R-NC) in coordination with Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) and closely supported by FRAC’s government affairs team. Congressman Mike Bost (R-IL), Ranking Member on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, also spoke at the press briefing. The video can be viewed here.

The ATF’s proposed ban on stabilizing braces, which help millions of disabled Americans exercise and enjoy their 2nd Amendment rights, is both heartless and illegal. FRAC stands in solidarity with millions of Veterans and firearms sports enthusiasts in our commitment to oppose ATF’s regulatory abuses and the proposed stabilizing brace ban.
